
Quantum technology and diplomacy: Why should we care?

The rapid advancement of quantum technology has been so transformative that the United Nations has designated 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. From establishing international standards and security frameworks to promoting cross-border research and cooperation in order to avoid a new quantum divide, quantum diplomacy will be pivotal in shaping the future governance of quantum advancements.
This session brings together high-level representatives from both policymaking and industry sectors to explore how international collaboration can accelerate progress, drive innovation, and minimize fragmentation.
